Introduction

SEAC Ltd use an injection moulding process to put a polymeric cap on a wide variety of screws, nails and pins. Particular problems have arisen with the socket drive bi-hexagonal cap. This interim report concentrates on this type although some of the lessons will be applicable to the other types as well.
