The objectives of this report are to assess in one to two thousand words:

1. the current status and viability of the designs of the Allyl Chloride and the Epichlorhydrin plants as built at Bydgoszcz by PDL, and
2. the factors which have chiefly contributed to the present position, in order to provide PDL with an independent view of the main technical factors to be considered in:
3. any modification of the technology and plant at Bydgoszcz,
4. any defence of PDL’s position in an arbitration case.

Objective

Overall, this is to summarise the likely behaviour of the existing reactor and feed systems and the scope for improvement.

A preliminary report was tendered on 21st April and this report confirms and extends its conclusions.
