Aims

The investigation has been aimed at establishing the following points as clearly as possible to the satisfaction of both parties (H Clarke and Co Ltd and APET Ltd).

  1. The nature of the defects as they show up in the mouldings.
  2. The features in the mould giving rise to the defects.
  3. The conduct of the moulding operation as it might affect 1 and 2.
  4. When the problem arose.
  5. The distinction between fair wear-and-tear and any specific damage as might have arisen under 3.
